About Bloglander

Bloglander is written by a team of people who spend a lot of time online, looking through and finding the best sources of information has become second nature. So during a conversation about some of the stuff we’d found and shared, it became obvious that we should put our finds in one place and share it with the world (et al).

Of course, this site has a danger of becoming a dumping ground for every viral piece of content that goes around – but we figure there’ s enough of that going on already and as such we would strive to find and share the ‘real’ people behind the ‘real content’.

Why bother? That is a question we had to ask ourselves – why bother to take the time to share things that are already out there and indexed in the mighty googleybeast?  Well, the answer is a simple one – we are annoyed that for a large portion of the newer entrants to the web, they could be fooled into thinking that Facebook is the internet, and that the shared content on there is all the internet has to offer.  It’s in shallow, time consumed days like these that people don’t take the time to properly trawl for the best content available.  Bad bad public!

So to increase our level of ego-vanity (just a little), we’re are proclaiming Bloglander as the superhero in the wilderness, a lone voice in the darkness, a shining light in the dank existence that is ‘online’. Yes friends, ‘we are the droids you are looking for’.

So, sit back… take some time.. and rediscover the wonderful invention that is the internet.
